Part 2 of the super-long poll of I'm-sorry-it's-so-super-long!

This one part is about [livejournal.com profile] ff_classchange and [livejournal.com profile] airship_lounge.

As a note, I will be posting a mod contact list soon, so if you have any issues with any of these communities and would rather discuss with the mods heading them, you can ask them directly! For now, most of them are okay with PMs and such.

Once again, please use this system for scales:

1 - CHANGE IT NOW CHANGE IT PLEASE
2 - There are some really, really big problems that need fixing like now
3-4 - There are some really big problems, but I'm not going to quit over them
5-6 - I don't really like it, but I can live with it
7-8 - There are some problems, but it's not too bad
9 - There really isn't anything wrong with it
10 - It's perfect, please don't change it!

And again, please note that textbox entry limit is 255 characters, and you can PM/IM/email/etc me answers if you don't want to comment.

All right, so as I mentioned before going on vacation, the more I thought about the de-anon bonuses and how to handle them, the more thorns I ran into. I'm actually putting in my notes to propose we do away with them between Games 2 and 3 BUT, because changing the rules now would be really disruptive, here is my proposal for de-anon bonuses for the time being (posting to FF Land Main this time because these clarifications involve [livejournal.com profile] moogle_workshop and [livejournal.com profile] airship_lounge as well):

I. Fan essays are allowed to be posted in [livejournal.com profile] moogle_workshop at any time and will be given points using the fanfiction scale. However, to count as an essay they must have a minimum word count of 250 words and have some central "point" or theme to them.

Rationale )

II. To get a de-anon bonus for an entry, you must crosspost it to [livejournal.com profile] moogle_workshop. This is just to make it easier on the mods and give us one simple way of tallying de-anon points.

III. The de-anon bonus applies to all contests except shorter blurb-type contests. So as a corollary, all contest entries that are able to get de-anon bonuses can be crossposted to MWS. The team slogans challenge, for example, would not be given de-anon points and those should not be posted to [livejournal.com profile] moogle_workshop. Everything else, if you wish to de-anon, go ahead and post it to MWS.

In more detail )

IV. This system will be evaluated at the end of Game 2 for sure. If you have any questions or feedback, feel free to leave them on this post, or over at the Suggestions Post. And if what I've written here is horribly confusing, I'll be glad to answer any questions you have. :)

Finally, unrelated to this de-anon thing, I'm doing a member's cut soon, for real. LAST CHANCE: If your name is listed here you have 24 hours to tell me you want to stay or I'll be booting you from the comms!

Thank you to everyone who voted on the flurry of applications! I was blown away by the amazing job people did with the sorting this past week!

Here are some announcements:

1: Point updates will be posted here every two weeks on Sunday. The first point update will be next week, February 6th.

2: I've made a Google calendar containing all FF Land deadlines, which can be found here. It is linked in the sidebars as well.

3: I've made a (members-locked) members list, showing contact information and classes for people who have been sorted at [livejournal.com profile] ff_classchange.

4: The point system at [livejournal.com profile] moogle_workshop has been tweaked a bit. The community is open for posting.

Thanks for your time, and I hope you're all having fun. :)
