Announcement: Garden Festival & Booth Applications

Hello everyone! You might have seen some mentions of the Garden Festival before, but here's the official announcement --

(If you go to that comm, though, it's just a sad and empty place for now, because we're not done setting up yet!)
So what's the Garden Festival? It's basically an excuse to throw a party :D Well, in all seriousness, it's actually so that non-members get a chance to see what it's like in

Even better; if you've participated and decided that hey, it's a pretty fun thing, maybe I wanna join; you'll get to keep all of the prizes that you've won (in the form of game points)!
And for our current members, the Garden Festival is also a chance for you to run activities!

If you don't have an idea but want to help out anyway, you can brainstorm on other suggestions and fill out a booth application later. If you just want to help out on someone else's booth, there's a helper application you can fill out and post as a reply to an existing booth application.

What's the reward for running booths? YOU GET GIL! Yes, shiny gil. Because of this, however, there'll be a limit to the number of booths that are gonna be held, just so that we don't overcrowd. We'll get back to you on the limit as soon as we see how many people are applying.
Schedule
Applications will be closed on July 15th. From July 16th to July 31st, all booth owners will be setting up their booths over at our events community. Then, we'll open the festival on the 1st of August.
Let's get those applications up and running!

Name: Yin and Breyzy of
Class: White Mage (Yin) and Soldier (Breyzy)
Booth Name: Speciality Job Class Rating Booth
Booth Info: Everyone has been sorted into Job Class Categories over at
Proposed Layout/Setup: Our booth would be set up with a general information section, guidelines for applying (such as being sure to vote on others who are also applying, etc.), a rating application...and perhaps a list of the jobs being considered for the rating itself (or a link to a wiki page for them, lolz). There would also be a stamped list for when members were stamped with a Job Class so others could see which job they were sorted into. Members would be encouraged to either post their application in a public entry on their own LJ and linking to it in a comment to the booth, or, if they felt more comfortable doing so, posting the entry in a comment itself...either way would work. Then others would vote on them from there! When a certain number for a majority is reached (probably five votes or perhaps more depending on how active the activity is)...that person will be announced stamped with the job profession others felt fit them the best.
Prizes/Participation: A shiny, shiny personalized stamp for each person who participates will be the main reward! ♥ But gil and points could be given depending on voting participation before a person is stamped and after...and perhaps some could also be given for applying as well. Not sure of how much would be a good amount for those yet. XD
On a scale of 1 to 5 (1 being easy and 5 being difficult), how much work do you think will go into maintaining this booth?: ...With two of us and a potential other helper? 2 or 3 maybe, depending on how active the booth is or how inactive it could get (as either one presents some amount of challenge). Still, it would be fairly manageable with both of us there to help out. :D
If you answered 4 or 5 to the above question, would you want a helper to help you out?: N/A...though helpers could be pretty nice too, it just depends on where you feel they are needed more! :D
