Re: Moogle points scale--

Well, we know the fanart scale is a problem, already. XD; Just voting it here in general.

I don't feel like other things are as big a problem, but... yeah. Like Vanja mentioned, icons can take very long or very short, but it'd be too hard to scale them on that. :\

But I feel writing can also take a lot of differing times, too. I mean, it'd take me a week to write what Z does in a day, for example.

But. Yeah. I feel the biggest problem is drawing. Because right now, for some 100 points of art, it'd take me some 20-30 hours. Which might not take someone else as long, but still really, really long.

Re: Ultima--

I liked all the contests, but, as stated in the other post, I do think we need more varieties than fanart (...which we only had 1 of, anyway ._.;), fanfic, and graphics. Which is hard, I know. But things like the design a jobclass, sequel from hell, and stuff like that were great and highly entertaining! XD

I think contest schedule's okay, but I wonder if it might be better to stagger the due dates. You can still keep the same number of contests, but maybe for the smaller ones, post one a week and make them last two weeks, so that they're due each week instead of having 2-3 due at the same time? Pretty please, for last-minute procrastinators like me?

Re: Minigames--

Again, as stated in previous post, I think minigame scores are too low in comparison to contests. They're kinda like... drops in the ocean. Hardly makes any difference. :\

Oooone thing I'd like to request is for Eilia and me to be able to participate in them more. ;_; I think the worst part is things like the really big ones, like the Easter Egg Hunt, Eilia and I couldn't participate at all, and I was like BAAAAAAAAAAW when I saw thiefie scores. >.>; It'll be an especially big blow if we do scale up minigames points, too...

We just need to stop collaborating, that's all lol. DO YOUR OWN THANG

Re: the request for participation. What if you guys, like...alternate? That way one of you could play in the game while the other hosts, and then you can switch up the next time.

*nods* We mostly do, and generally we can both do ones Tako hosts, but I guess I'm just bawing over the easter egg hunt because it was worth so much but we couldn't do it because we all worked on it. XD;; Same with things like trivia and stuff. So generally speaking, the bigger the activity, the more of us are going to be doing it.

Although now that I think about it, maybe something like the easter egg hunt, if we do a multi-activity one again, we can allow Eilia and me to do the separate activities that we didn't work on, maybe? Which would disqualify us from the completion/speed bonus, but would be better than nothing.

I actually don't really care too much about points /is stomped to death by Z

I know, I know, I raged so much when the Black Mages overtook us, but really, even though the Easter Egg hunt was worth a lot, I didn't really go "man, I wish I could play so that I could earn points for the team!!" I really just had a lot of fun planning it :D

...;__________;

THIS IS WHY YOU'RE A MONK AND I'M A THIEFIE.

I DON'T MIND AT ALL THE BLACK MAGES MIGHT BE OVERTAKING US EVEN. (Well, I mean, I mind, but not in an angry way. More like a MAN WE SHOULDA DONE MORE way.)

BUT LIKE.

POINTS.

;______________;

WHEN I SEE ALL THOSE POINTS I CAN'T GET IT MAKES ME CRY.

Yeah, I know. XD; I wasn't really expecting another fanart one.

*ponders* Random idea, how about a colouring one? Dunno how well it'd work, though. But maybe colouring + icons or something, since I know even a lot of my non-drawy icon-making friends do that. (But I dunno where we'd get B+W manga-type pictures for FFs. Doujinshi?)

I... I... ;___________; But I don't have a presence on dA. ;_; I pretty much never use it, and um. ;_;

*nods* I like the not-just-pure-writing ones! :D Although thinking back, it's not like there were that many writing ones, either. I think it's just that the same people win for all of them.

[identity profile] arivess.livejournal.com 2011-05-04 11:28 pm (UTC)(link)
XD You can try! I'LL HELP MAYBE! But, yeah, generally I don't actually go around dA. I'm only in two groups, both just for FF11/14, and follow a handful of people, most of whom I know already. And every day I just check front page and daily deviants and that's it. XD;;;
