Game 3 Feedback - Part 4

Okay, part 4! This one is about [livejournal.com profile] ff_minigames and [livejournal.com profile] ff_eventsquare. If you have any problems with minigames, please discuss them with me directly; for the moment, I'm still the main mod heading minigames. Ets should be okay to contact for events.

As a note, you might notice there aren't many questions about the actual events of Event Square. That's because the events are run by volunteers, not Ets, so she's more concerned about the organization issues. If you have any comments about the actual events that happened, please comment about them below, in the comments. I am so eloquent. And this might be a little early, but if you have any ideas about an event you'd like to run, we'd love to have you on the volunteer team for the next festival, this summer.

Again, grading system for scale:

1 - CHANGE IT NOW CHANGE IT PLEASE
2 - There are some really, really big problems that need fixing like now
3-4 - There are some really big problems, but I'm not going to quit over them
5-6 - I don't really like it, but I can live with it
7-8 - There are some problems, but it's not too bad
9 - There really isn't anything wrong with it
10 - It's perfect, please don't change it!

Hehe, I'll admit I'm not the best with mini-games...I found a lot of the last game ones in particular to be really confusing to the point where I just kind of gave up on them and some of the luck-based ones were just ones I didn't really have too much luck in, lolz. XD Logic and me will never be more than occasional buddies, hehe! ♥ But I do find myself enjoying the games that I feel comfortable participating in, so I do have fun with some of the events even if I am not really as active in the comm in general--and I know that others really enjoyed the games that I wasn't too keen on as well, so I really like the amount of variety in the comm: something for everyone! ♥

As for the Event Square...well, I do admit that I sometimes felt burned out with that activity. There's so much happening and in so quick a time frame, that I couldn't even really participate in it too much this last game due to RL things and what-not (and I do admit I missed a few activities and was really late to them because of that). I think maybe extending it for a little while so that people can have an opportunity to enjoy the events and get used to what's happening might be a good idea...or possibly even doing the Event Square for a week or more, then maybe stopping it for a little while, and restarting all of the booths again later on during the game a few times more might enable people who initially missed out a chance to get in on the action later on down the road? That might also bolster activity for the games themselves as well, since it did seem like after the starting point several of the activities did start to die down in terms of active participants, so when late-comers did come to the events finally they weren't really able to participate as much either due to that also.

...That's probably not very doable though, so I apologize for commenting so much on these things with silly things! XD

Hehe, it was probably more me being dumb than anything else...sometimes, I'm not too great with logic puzzles and things of that nature--no worries! I think the variety has been really impressive in terms of mini-games already...even though I wasn't really great with some of them, there were always quite a few each game I really had fun with--and I think that's the same for everyone, hopefully. They've been really neat! ♥

I'm glad it made sense then! I felt like I was saying something really silly when I suggested that...I'm sorry for commenting so much on these polls all the time! XD
