Also a note: this comm is going to be a little strange in that there will not theoretically be limits to how many points one person can earn because there will be a fanworks comm where people can always post fanworks for (a smaller amount of) points. I based this off of another comm (
I hope this is a good answer, and thanks for bringing this up. :)

I wanted different communities to have very different kind of activities, and I wanted people to be able to watch or un-watch communities based on their interests. For example, if you're not really interested in seeing fanwork contests, you may un-watch
I wasn't sure where people would be coming from in the Final Fantasy fandom, so that's why I separated traditionally land comm-ish activities into
This setup also has the added benefit of allowing the minigames mod to still participate in contests and vice versa (I mean, we don't have a contest mod but if we did, they'd be able to participate in screened-comment minigames).
My intention was that it would be a very rare person who's able to participate in every activity consistently. I wanted there to be a lot going on for different tastes, and not participating in everything is completely okay.

I'm trying to eliminate all the major sources of chaos right now, so give me a bit more time, and then we can re-evaluate the system?
By the way, comments like this can be posted as an entry to

And... yeah you have a good point. I didn't think about the reminders. At
I hope I didn't sound over-defensive in my reply, by the way. I really appreciate the feedback and having thought about it, it might have been better to combine
And yeah, I just want mods to be comfortable posting at

And then I proceeded to neglect this comment. D: But yeah, I'm thinking we should maybe not do it unless there are more games where the characters' birthdays are known.

But the thing about sigtags is that currently they don't get points in
Does that make sense? Basically, we already have a shop system that you can use if to offer sigtags to people. However, we currently don't have a points system worked out for sigtags, but this is something that can be changed starting next game.
