Game 4: MWS and Participation Banners
Hello, guys! Just posting here with a few things before game starts. The first has been crossposted to
moogle_workshop; it's about the changes forthcoming for the next game.
The second is something new we're introducing for you guys to spend your gil on - participation banners, made by the lovely
chacusha!
ETA: The participation banner stall is now up HERE.
MOOGLE WORKSHOP CHANGES
• The poetry point scale has now been changed to 1 point/5 words.
• The new and revamped fanworks bazaar is up and stickied! However, MWS-wide requests are remaining at 5000 gil. (I'm afraid I'm not really able to control the number of fills you get; however, the new post does have a few suggestions as to what you should consider before making a MWS-wide request.)
• Just a reminder: you get gil for both commenting and posting in
moogle_workshop, and the cap is 200 gil/week.
Clarifications
• The drabble bonus is remaining the same. However, to clarify: if you write chained or stitched drabbles, each drabble in that piece gets a bonus. (Please indicate if it's chained or stitched so you can get the bonus points! Word count: "10 x 100" or "1000 words in 10 drabbles" are good ways to indicate that the piece is a chained or stitched drabble.)
• Again, just a reminder: crossovers with non-Final Fantasy fandoms are allowed, as long as the focus is on the Final Fantasy characters. The characters need not necessarily be the protagonists of the game; an FFIX crossover with, say, Legend of Zelda, that features Tantalus, or the black mages of Black Mage Village, or Moguo, is still eligible (regardless of which game's world the fic is situated in.)
PARTICIPATION BANNERS
We have more things for you to buy with your gil! We've got a shiny new participation banner system. Huge thanks to
chacusha for making these absolutely gorgeous banners!
First up, a sample of the banner:

HOW THIS WORKS
• You may use only gil earned during the current game to buy participation banners. If you're unsure as to whether you're eligible for a particular rank, check the gil sheet to see if you've earned the total amount of gil required for each rank.
• You can purchase as many ranks as you are eligible for (and can afford) at one go, and you pay the difference between the new rank and the rank you last purchased. Therefore, if you do not purchase anything until Rank 5, you pay the 2500 gil at one go; if your last purchase was a Rank 3 banner, you pay 1300 gil.
• Participation banners may be used as signature tags in
ff_classchange or in any activity comms as required.
• The gil for each rank is in the following table:
•
chacusha will be putting up the post soon! People interested in buying banners in the future should post a ranked list of the ten characters they'd like to see on their banners under the sign-up thread in the post. You will get a generic rank 0 tag upon signing up.
Any questions? Yes? No?
Either way, see you guys in Game 4. ;)
